Kedrion Biopharma UK is recruiting a Validation Specialist to join our Validation team at the Elstree site, offering the opportunity to contribute to a highly regulated biopharmaceutical environment where quality, compliance, and continuous improvement underpin everything we do.
Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will support the delivery of robust, science‑ and risk‑based validation activities that maintain inspection readiness and ensure that assets and processes consistently meet regulatory and internal quality standards .
This fully on‑site role is ideal for a proactive, detail‑focused validation professional who thrives in a GMP setting and is passionate about delivering compliant solutions that protect product quality, patient safety, and data integrity.

What You'll Do
Ensure you and all personnel within your remit comply with applicable Environment, Health & Safety requirements
Hold shared responsibility for the ongoing compliance of assets at the Elstree facility, ensuring equipment meets regulatory requirements with zero impact to routine operations
Maintain validation equipment in a calibrated and verified state with accessible calibration and verification records
Maintain regular dialogue with Validation Management to ensure validation resources are effectively deployed to meet dynamic business priorities
Support implementation of validation strategies using the most appropriate internal or external personnel while maintaining standards
Identify and communicate risks to product quality, patient safety, and data integrity through the validation lifecycle using a quality risk management approach
Apply science‑ and risk‑based tools to drive execution strategies and support issue resolution
Identify skills and competency development needs within the team and support individual and team development through Elstree training processes
Support Validation Management with identification, recruitment, and onboarding of staff and contractors into the organisation
Ensure personnel within your remit meet required competence and behavioural standards
Take ownership of verification and validation activity within your remit and contribute to consistent service delivery and systemic improvements across the validation team
Support Validation Management in planning and allocating operational and capital budgets in support of validation activities
Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting the evolution of validation processes to maintain best practices and maximise resource efficiency
Qualifications
Degree‑level qualification in a science or engineering discipline, or equivalent
Significant experience in validation within parenteral biopharmaceutical or blood‑product manufacturing (API and/or fill/finish) environments
Strong documentation and record‑keeping skills
Ability to work fully on‑site at the Elstree facility
Willingness to engage in self‑directed learning and apply new information to routine work
Commitment to continuous improvement and evolving validation processes in line with best practices
