Public Funding Manager – Energy sector
London based (hybrid working)
Circa £60,000 plus 10% bonus and benefits
A Public Funding Manager is wanted on a permanent basis by a global client of ours who is at the forefront of their industry and going through a real period of growth. In this role, the successful candidate will manage the public funding strategy in the UK and for North-West Europe, ensuring full alignment with the company’s corporate strategy.
This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of circa £60,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications plus bonuses and benefits.
Overview of the Public Funding Manager role:
* Act as the internal reference point and subject matter expert on public funding in the UK, covering both traditional business and new developments.
* The role leads the definition of strategic priorities based on identified risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment with the company’s global vision.
* Gain in-depth knowledge of existing and emerging public funding opportunities in the UK and North west Europe, with the aim of maximising access to financial resources that support the company’s strategic projects.
Key skills required for the Public Funding Manager role:
* Prior experience in public funding within the energy sector is required.
* Knowledge of the liquid hydrocarbons sector/ Sustainable Aviation Fuel/ Hydrogen/ Biofuels.
* Project Management approach ensuring management of the full value chain of project funding and grant processes.
