Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated and proactive Primary Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of primary schools across Southampton. Whether you have prior classroom experience or are looking to gain it, we want to hear from you!
The Role:
Support pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basis with learning activities.
Assist the class teacher with classroom management, resources, and planning.
Contribute to a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support pupils with additional learning needs (including SEND where applicable).
Provide feedback on progress and help track pupil achievement.
Requirements:
Experience working with children (in a school, tutoring, or youth setting).
A caring and patient approach, with excellent communication skills.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Right to work in the UK.
