Job Description
* Processing procurement data accurately and efficiently.
* Ensuring data integrity by reviewing and validating procurement data.
* Supporting the procurement team with data-driven insights and reporting.
* Maintaining procurement databases, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
* Working closely with other departments to align procurement strategies.
* Assisting with the development and implementation of procurement policies.
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department.
* Adhering to data protection regulations and company policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Data Processor should have:
* A minimum of three years' procurement experience in recycling, manufacturing, or engineering
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inputting large data sets into MRP systems
* Strong understanding of stock inventory systems and procurement processes
* Essential knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A CIPS qualification is desirable but not essential
