A highly reputable, independent care provider based in Letchworth is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead its home care and supported living services. The organisation is strongly values-led, with a focus on high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide strong, effective leadership across the service, promoting a positive and inclusive culture.
2. Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding requirements and all regulatory obligations.
3. Oversee the delivery of person-centred care, including care planning, risk assessments and quality assurance.
4. Manage budgets, staffing, rotas and operational performance to meet service and business objectives.
5. Build and maintain effective relationships with families, professionals, commissioners and other stakeholders.
6. Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and contribute to governance and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
7. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to undertake).
8. Minimum 4 years’ management or supervisory experience within a regulated care setting, including supported living.
9. Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding and person-centred care.
10. Demonstrable leadership, communication and organisational skills.
11. Experience managing budgets and leading multidisciplinary teams.
12. Full UK driving licence.
