About the Team:

Nuneaton and Bedworth Family Help Team are looking for 2 Social Workers who are seeking to make a difference to join our family-focused team who work with children from 0-18 covering a range of work from supporting families on a Child In Need basis through to child protection, PLO, court work, children in care and adoption.

We are looking for committed, enthusiastic and motivated child focused social workers to help us improve the outcomes for our young people, ensuring their voice is heard and remains central within our decision-making processes. We are able to offer a supportive management team, an established ASYE and ongoing training programme as well as a clear career pathway to support social workers to achieve their potential and be the best they can be.

Now is an exciting time to be part of our team as Warwickshire continues to embed and consolidate our Families First teams who support the young people in our county. Our approach is about locality working, multi disciplinary and multi agency teams that support the whole family. Building strong partnerships with local services, Health, Police and Education. We have co-located professionals in the team, PCSO, NHS Nurse who will be joining us shortly.

As a practitioner, you will also have the additional support from our systemic intervention service and our internal parenting assessment team - so that you have the capacity to directly work with children and their families.

About the Role:

We are recruiting for the role of Social Worker in our Duty & Assessment Pod and a Social Worker within our Support & Intervention Pod within Stratford Family Help Team.

Key Requirements:

Applicants for the role will need a professional Social Work qualification and Social Work England Registration.

As part of the market supplement:

Experienced Social Worker - Grade K, L, N:

Experienced Social Worker (K, L, N). Up to £51,726.00 per annum (Includes a £3,500 pro-rated market supplement which is subject to pension, tax and NI deductions Ts&Cs apply). Plus, Relocation Allowance up to £8,000 may be available from 1st April 2026 if the relevant policy criteria are met. Ts&Cs apply).
