A large and expanding 11–18 secondary school in Greater Manchester is seeking a highly organised and personable Admissions & Transition Administrator to join its established support team. The Role As Admissions & Transition Administrator, you will coordinate the end-to-end admissions process from initial enquiry through to pupil enrolment and induction. Key responsibilities include: • Managing Year 6 to Year 7 transition processes and mid-year admissions • Coordinating open evenings, school tours and induction events • Maintaining accurate pupil records on the school MIS system • Liaising with local authorities regarding place allocations • Preparing admissions documentation and offer letters • Supporting the pastoral and safeguarding teams with relevant data • Ensuring compliance with admissions policies and statutory guidance You will also play a crucial role during peak admissions periods, where efficiency, attention to detail and strong communication are essential.
