* Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive, child-focused culture
* Ensure consistent implementation of behaviour support plans and safeguarding procedures
Previous experience in a residential children s home (EBD or similar setting)
* A calm, resilient, and nurturing approach
* Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a small staff team
* Working knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation (Children s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards)
* Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and regular sleep-ins
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work toward it)
* Minimum age 21 (due to legislative requirements)
