SEN Teacher Needed for Immediate Start
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher to join an established educational organisation in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students who require additional support, within a supportive and inclusive setting. The position is available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with special educational needs
2. Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and support staff
3. Provide targeted interventions and adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of needs
4. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of development and achievements
5. Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
6. Liaise effectively with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student well-being
7. Contribute to the wider school community and participate in training and professional development
Required Qualifications and Experience
8. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
9. Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs in a school setting
10. Strong understanding of SEND Code of Practice and effective classroom management strategies
11. Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
12. A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching and learning
