Registered Manager – Children's Residential Care (EBD)

We are seeking a committed and dynamic Registered Manager to take the lead in our children's home for young people aged 8–18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You will create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where children can thrive.
This role is open to experienced Registered Managers and strong Deputy Managers ready to step up, with full support and mentoring provided. There is also potential for dual registration for those seeking career progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring a child-centred, therapeutic approach.
* Lead, inspire, and develop your team to deliver outstanding care.
* Maintain full compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations.
* Create and oversee personalised care plans tailored to each child's needs.
* Champion safeguarding and drive continuous improvement through audits and reviews.
* Recruit, mentor, and train staff, fostering a trauma-informed, learning-focused culture.
* Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, schools, and families.
* Manage rotas, staffing, budgets, and resources effectively.
What We're Looking For
* Experience supporting young people with EBD/challenging behaviours.
* Proven management experience or strong deputy experience in children's residential care.
* Knowledge of safeguarding law, Ofsted expectations, and Children's Homes Regulations.
* Level 4 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Minimum 2 years in a senior role within children's residential care.
* Understanding of trauma-informed practice.
* Full driving licence preferred.
