Turning Point UK is seeking a Clinical Lead for their in-patient detoxification service in Manchester. This part-time role offers the chance to make a significant impact on individuals facing addiction challenges, overseeing clinical care and leading a dedicated team.
Qualifications
* Experience in addiction medicine at a leadership level.
* Proven ability to deliver safe, effective assessments and interventions.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
* Current GMC Registration.
* Qualifications per RCPsych/RCGP frameworks.
Responsibilities
* Oversee detoxification and stabilization regimes for substances.
* Lead clinical governance and supervise staff.
* Collaborate with clinical colleagues and participate in peer support networks.

About the Role
This position involves overseeing admissions and clinical care of residents, providing clinical leadership, training, and supervision for clinical staff. The role typically involves 22.5 hours per week, usually 4 hours daily.
Candidate Profile
We seek a passionate individual with experience in addiction treatment, preferably as a Consultant Addiction Psychiatrist or a General Practitioner with relevant experience and qualifications. Experience in an in-patient setting is preferred but not mandatory.
