Job Description: Front of House Supervisor
Catch 79 Seafood Bistro is a small restaurant in the coastal town of Lossiemouth. We serve fresh, locally sourced food, cooked from scratch, and prepared to order. We pride ourselves in a very high standard front of house as well as in the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day open and closing operations of the restaurant, including customer service, staff management, and cleanliness of front of house.
* Ensure that customer orders are accurately processed and delivered in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
* Process orders through EPOS system, ensuring accuracy and payment handling is correct with cash, card or vouchers.
* General front of house duties: Greet and welcome customers, taking orders, making and serving drinks, serving food, clearing plates, etc
* Ensure all customers are given first class service
* General housekeeping
* Take reservations
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a restaurant team leader or similar supervisory role.
* Friendly and welcoming personality.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Winter (Oct-May) Thursday to Sunday
* Summer (May-Oct) Wednesday to Sunday
* Over 21 only

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week

* Lossiemouth IV31 6DP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
* Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
* Hospitality: 3 years (required)
