Job Title: Senior Payroll Administrator
Location: Reading (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home after probation)
Salary: Up to £38,000 (potentially up to £44,000 for senior candidates)

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join the payroll team based in Reading. This is a key role within the finance function, responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and delivering accurate and timely payroll services.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of client payrolls, ensuring accurate end-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payrolls.
Administer starters, leavers, statutory payments, and adjustments.
Ensure compliance with RTI and Auto Enrolment regulations.
Respond to client queries promptly and professionally, maintaining excellent relationships.
Support colleagues within the payroll team, contributing to a collaborative and efficient working environment.
About You:
A minimum of 3 years’ payroll experience, ideally gained within an accountancy or professional services environment.
Solid understanding of RTI, Auto Enrolment, and end-to-end payroll processing.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple client deadlines.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Competence in Excel and Word; experience with IRIS Payroll Professional is beneficial but not essential.
Relevant payroll qualifications (e.g., CIPP) are advantageous, though strong hands-on experience will also be valued.
