Agilis are currently recruiting a temporary HR advisor for a well known business in Ipswich. This role offers an immediate start and hybrid working.
In this pivotal role, you will manage and advise on ER cases, ensuring they are handled with utmost fairness and in compliance with employment law and company policies. You will provide first-line specialist advice to managers on a variety of matters including absence management, performance, conduct, and grievances. Your ability to manage your own caseload, support investigations, and contribute to the development of ER policies will be crucial in maintaining high standards of fairness and compliance within the organisation.
To excel in this role, you should possess a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or be working towards it) and have 3-5 years of HR experience with direct exposure to ER case management. A strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices is essential, along with experience in drafting formal case correspondence and supporting investigations.
Your strong written communication and report writing skills, coupled with the confidence to coach and influence managers, will be key assets. The ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with high attention to detail, along with a calm, objective, and professional approach when handling sensitive cases, will set you apart. Organisational and time-management skills, along with the ability to work independently within defined frameworks, are essential.
