Design Manager
Location: UK - Macclesfield
Overview
Opportunity for a Design Manager in Macclesfield to join the Life Sciences team. The Design Manager will report into the project team, fully understanding and managing the design requirements of the tender/project, and providing assistance and guidance to design coordinators where appropriate. This is a 5-year framework for small works ranging from £300k - £4m. This role is on-site, working alongside the Sisk framework team and client framework team. Responsibilities
* Manage design consultants and sub-consultants, ensuring correct and timely delivery of design information for on-site works.
* Manage design coordinators and mentor them for their projects.
* Contribute to the Employer's Requirements/Contractor Proposal Compatibility.
* Assist the Design Coordinator during the construction phase.
* Chair and minute design meetings, ensuring production of information aligns with the design.
Qualifications
* Degree in a construction-related discipline.
* Minimum six years of construction industry experience.
