Job description
Seeking an experienced Rail industry Risk Manager for a 6 months period.
3 days per week office present, 2 days remote. Option of Manchester or York offices.
Some of the key accountabilities of this role are:
* Provide leadership and guidance in the concept of R&VM, maintaining their appropriate and effective application to all stages of the project lifecycle.
* Deliver Level 1 Assurance activities as specified by the Principal R&V Manager.
* Manage &/or deliver specialist R&VM support services as dictated by the R&VM maturity of the project community.
* Monitor the output of others who undertake such R&VM activities to monitor competence, consistency and compliance with Network Rail procedures and provide assurance.
Qualifications:
* Suitable Rail and Risk Management background.
* Able to build risk models in a number of applications, which accurately represent the complexities of cost, schedule and business risk
* Knowledge of project management and project control processes
