An exciting “growth” opportunity for a well-versed and operationally aligned and astute Engineering Manager to make a true impact in the Ground Support Market.
You will be charged with developing and nurturing a group of outstanding Engineers to deliver power conversion solutions across the Globe through the Alvest and TLD Network whilst supporting the transition of Powervamp Limited to support challenging growth plan.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Overarching control of the Engineering team including New Product Introductions, In Service Engineering support, and Production support during Engineering Changes.
* Budgetary responsibility for all Group CAPEX and Recharge projects including vigorous management of the “gated” NPI process whilst ensuring all requirements are met/ captured through deep stakeholder engagement.
* Engineering structural changes and transition to develop a High Performing Team, operationally aligned, whilst offsetting key skill risks.
* As a STEERCO member, to support the Management Team and COO by offsetting all known Engineering risk whilst supporting the business mandate.
* Collaborate with other business units around the world for joint developments or product improvements.
* Design for Manufacture and for Service with a key focus on improving product reliability through targeted Service Bulletin campaigns and Engineering designs.
* Assist with product cost reduction programmes.
* Occasional travel to other business units around the world (Europe, China, America, Canada and India)
