About You Possess a third-level qualification in Estate Management, Surveying, or a relevant discipline; or demonstrate 5+ years' relevant experience in property and asset management Chartered Surveyor status or strong practical experience in relevant fields (desirable) Extensive knowledge of land and property transactions, valuation, and lease management Proven financial management skills with experience overseeing budgets Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills What You'll Do Lead strategic asset and property management initiatives to ensure optimal use of council estate and resources Oversee the council's insurance and off-street parking functions, including risk assessments and procurement processes Develop and implement policies related to land transactions and corporate landlord models Prepare detailed reports and presentations to council committees, providing strategic insights and recommendations Coordinate property transactions with external professionals including valuers and solicitors Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure all targets are met Lead investigations into risk and loss prevention, collaborating with safety teams to minimise future issues Supervise and develop team members to foster a motivated and high-performing environment Support the development of master plans for asset utilisation and accommodation strategies to enhance efficiency For further information on this opportunity, please apply via the link or contact our office for a confidential discussion.
