Overview
Our client in Doncaster are on the lookout for a shift electrician to join thier team. This role is suitable for anyone who has worked in a electrical maintenance, electrician, multiskilled electrician role.
The role
* Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to
* Keeping accurate and detailed records and reports through software systems
* Perform fault-finding and diagnosis on PLC controlled machinery from schematic drawings.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance
* Analysis/Resolution/Improvement of Electrical faults and repairs
* Conduct installations of new electrical systems
* Maintaining good housekeeping standards at all times
* Any other reasonable duties
The person
* Electrical Apprenticeship, preferably to ONC standard
* Previous experience of working in a Maintenance Engineering role with experience of PPMs ideally within a warehouse, FMCG or similar automation environment
* Excellent communication skills
* ability to work under pressure
* PC literate
