In this role you will ensure clients' needs are met with exceptional service, meeting expectations for quality, timeliness, and cost. Advise on water and wastewater regulations, manage a regional portfolio, and maximize up-sale opportunities. Oversee contract performance and financials, resolve client issues, and work cross-functionally for future planning. Build and maintain client relationships, adopt best practices, and influence industry changes. Lead customer reviews, identify new prospects, create tactical plans, and build strategic plans. Hold educational events, lead team meetings, and present to senior leadership.


Responsibilities

* Drive growth by winning new contracts and developing long-term relationships with regulated water companies.
* Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures and standards, whether Severn Trent, client, regulatory, statutory or legal obligations.
* Ensure payments are made, revenue is collected, KPIs & SLAs are adhered to, and customer expectations are met.
* Report issues/complaints, engage all organisations to ensure timely resolution, and collaborate with the MoD Projects team to drive a compliant business.
* Understand and improve performance against internal, external and client-set standards, providing timely feedback to management.
* Deliver accurate measures and findings to the management team to assist decision making for the future.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a trusting relationship with clients and potential clients.


Qualifications

* Well-versed in the water and wastewater industry, including regulatory, statutory, and legal obligations.
* Relevant industry experience with infrastructure services, operations, systems, and solutions similar to those provided by Severn Trent Services.
* Ability to build trusting relationships.
* Understanding of company KPIs and regulatory targets relevant to business development.
* Commercial awareness, ability to identify and apply industry standards, and a strong track record of stakeholder engagement and management.
* Driven to deliver personal, team, and company objectives, tackle demanding tasks, and understand the costs of failure.
* Problem‑solving skills to enhance customer experience, technical understanding of water and wastewater assets, and excellent customer service.
* Experience managing key accounts and relationships with external stakeholders.
* Full UK driving licence and ability to secure and retain full MoD (SC) security clearance.
* Value of character, positivity and a caring attitude in equal weight with skills.

* Salary range between £47,090.60 – £54,808.00 plus a monthly car allowance of £520.
