Job Title: Highway Maintenance Engineer Salary: £37,036 - £39,513 per annum (attracts an additonal market forces payment until March 2028) 35 Hours per Week Location: N ewlands Depot, Malvern Team: Design and Build Permanent Contract We are looking for an experienced Highways Maintenance Engineer to join our South Worcestershire team based at Newlands Depot. You’ll take the lead on designing, planning and delivering major highway maintenance schemes across the network from resurfacing, reconstruction and surface dressing works to complex patching and emergency repairs. Working closely with our term service contractor and depot colleagues, you’ll turn schemes from concept through to delivery on site, making real-time decisions that keep works safe, efficient and cost-effective. You’ll also mentor technicians and apprentices, manage budgets, and help coordinate responses during severe weather or emergency events.
