Arden White Aerospace and Aviation Recruitment are currently working with a leading Defence company based at RAF Brize Norton with the recruitment of a Production Planning Engineer.
The Production Planning Engineer is responsible for ensuring the accurate creation and maintenance of AMOS job cards in compliance with A400M maintenance requirements, MAA Regulatory Articles (RA), and internal procedures. The role supports complex maintenance activities and plays a key part in standardising job card processes, improving planning efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance across production support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create, update, and maintain job card templates using AMOS Template Manager.
* Accurately interpret OEM/customer technical documentation.
* Identify and manage CDCCLs, ADs, CPCPs, NDTs, and component change tasks.
* Ensure full compliance with MAA RA Part 145 and company procedures.
* Liaise with Planning, Quality, and Production teams to improve job card and planning standards.
* Support job card certification and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
* Assist in preparing for internal/external audits and resolve findings.
* Deliver on-the-job training and guidance to team members on job card best practices.
* Provide input for continuous improvement of planning processes and documentation standards.
* Deputise for Planning Engineers when required, including work package creation.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Recognised technical apprenticeship or relevant degree/diploma.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical support or planning role within a P145 environment.
* Strong experience with AMOS or similar MRO software at a key user level.
* Excellent understanding of aircraft maintenance processes and compliance requirements.
* Ability to interpret technical data and engineering drawings.
* Solid communication, organisational, and multitasking skills.
* Awareness of aviation safety, airworthiness regulations, and MAA standards.
* Experience writing or editing technical documents or work instructions is advantageous.
