You will be part of the wider Health Board GP team and have the opportunity to participate in a monthly Journal Club and receive peer support through the Deputy Medical Director's team, as well as from your salaried GP peers and the Primary Care Cluster Locality Lead. There is also the opportunity for training and development in any areas of specialist interest.
Responsibilities:
1. To provide, as part of a core multi-disciplinary team, a high-quality general medical service to the registered patients of the practice (including temporary residents).
2. To provide consultation and appropriate clinical management of patients attending the practice, or to those where a home visit is clinically necessary.
3. To provide leadership, clinical oversight, and direction to the rest of the clinical team.
4. To provide telephone and/or virtual consultation and appropriate management of patients who contact the practice, where necessary.
5. To undertake telephone triage as needed.
6. To keep accurate and legible records of all patient contacts and contribute to electronic data recording and audit as directed by the service.
