Ensure that the customer needs are fully understood and translated into effective operational plans.
Establish a positive working relationship with the customer and all associated functions, including product teams, transport providers, IT systems, quality, and other service departments, to resolve problems to the benefit of the business.
Aid in the management and planning of the people resources, ensuring that the correct level of staff is available to manage peak periods across the operation.
Review operational performance with a focus on fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
It would be advantageous to hold an IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
Previous experience in Continuous Improvement is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrable experience in a fast-moving retail logistics operation.
