Your new role
Working closely with the General Manager, you will lead night shift production activities to ensure maximum operational efficiency and product quality. You will take responsibility for maintainingpliance with food safety regulations, overseeing internal and external audit requirements and ensuring all associated documentation is accurate and up to date. You will guide and motivate your team, delivering structured training, setting high manufacturing standards and driving performance through effective use of production metrics such as OEE. The role also involves managing labour planning, rotas and packaging control, ensuring raw materials and stock are utilised efficiently, and maintaining all required production records to guarantee audit‑ready conditions at all times. You will champion a “do the right thing” approach, promoting safe working practices and upholdingpany procedures across food safety, quality and people management, including disciplinaries, grievances and attendance processes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring significant experience in a similar production management role within a food manufacturing environment, along with strong leadership capability and the confidence to drive high standards through your team. You will be knowledgeable in food safety, quality systems andpliance requirements, with the ability to interpret and implement corrective actions when necessary. Strong IT literacy, excellentmunication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, audit focused environment will also be essential to your success.
