Responsibilities
* Perform fault diagnosis and resolve failures on production machinery, including automation, electrical, and mechanical issues.
* Escalate maintenance issues where necessary.
* Record detailed maintenance work via SAP (CMMS).
* Drive continuous improvement through preventative maintenance activities, equipment checks, and repairs.
* Complete risk assessment / permit to work and method statements for safe execution of maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience with automation PLCs, fault finding, and diagnostics.
* Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
* Knowledge and experience working within a CMMS; SAP experience preferred.
* Experience with FMEA, root‑cause analysis, and preventative/planned maintenance optimisation is advantageous.
