About the role Join our Manufacturing Engineering team in Eastbourne where you'll be responsible for supporting and improving our manufacturing processes across new and existing products, helping us drive efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to deliver safe, efficient, and repeatable production workflows. Review processes to improve quality, reduce costs, and boost efficiency, considering workflow, space, and equipment layout. Collaborate with Quality Engineers to ensure product and process standards are met. Provide clear production insights to support decision-making, including labour, machine utilisation, and bottleneck analysis. Investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Maintain accurate process documentation, including PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions. Act as a manufacturing expert, supporting the wider business with technical knowledge. Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to ensure smooth transitions from design to production. Keep professional and technical skills up to date to drive continuous improvement Requirements What are we looking for? Proven experience in a similar engineering role within electro-mechanical manufacturing. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including final assembly, flow lines, and workflow optimisation. Proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement process improvements. The right attitude is more important to us than your skills or experience.
