Are you an experienced midwife with strong leadership skills who is passionate about delivering high-quality, woman-centred care in antenatal services?
We are offering an exciting internal secondment opportunity for a motivated and dynamic individual to step into the role of Midwifery Team Leader for the Antenatal Clinic and Fetal Medicine Unit.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop leadership experience at Band 7, working closely with the wider maternity leadership team to ensure the smooth running of antenatal and fetal medicine services.
Responsibilities
* Provide visible, supportive leadership for the antenatal clinic and fetal medicine midwifery team.
* Support the safe, effective, and compassionate delivery of antenatal care in line with national standards and trust priorities.
* Work collaboratively with obstetric, fetal medicine, and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
* Manage day-to-day operational activity, including staffing, workload prioritisation, and escalation of concerns.
* Drive service improvements and innovation that enhance patient experience and reduce health inequalities.
* Support the professional development, wellbeing, and retention of midwifery staff.

Qualifications
