Legal Secretary - Southampton - Up to 28,000 per annum

A well-respected and values-driven firm based in Southampton is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.

The company offers a positive working culture, modern offices and a comprehensive benefits package including 26 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

* Audio and copy typing of legal documents from dictation
* Preparing and formatting a variety of legal documentation
* Managing incoming and outgoing telephone calls, both internal and external
* Acting as the first point of contact for the department
* Liaising with clients and maintaining strong client relationships
* Ensuring file compliance and accurate record keeping
* Diary management for fee earners
* General administrative duties including filing, scanning, and document management

Requirements:

* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
* High level of accuracy in typing and document preparation
* A team-oriented mindset with a proactive and flexible approach
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
