Defour Partnership is working closely with an award-winning National Social Care organization recruiting for a Training Specialist (Learning and Development Specialist).
Exciting opportunity to join an innovative and forward-thinking charity and be part of their Learning and Development team.
This role will support the North West Region, so you can be based anywhere across the region or surrounding areas.
This important role delivers high-quality and engaging training to equip front-line colleagues with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their roles, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the people they support and enabling them to lead the best life possible.
Offering a competitive salary of £24,000-£26,000, plus a £3,000 car allowance, with the opportunity to work a 4-day week.
Your Day to Day
* Delivering excellent training sessions on various subjects – from first aid and safeguarding to medication administration and positive behavioral support techniques.
* Collaborating with the regional People team to support the delivery of effective learning, either face-to-face or virtually across the region.
* Using their bespoke digital learning platform, "Dare to Learn,” running reports, and analyzing data to identify trends.
* Forecasting training needs and scheduling courses accordingly.
* Working with local leaders to ensure their teams' learning needs are met.

Flexibility to work your full-time hours over 4 days for a long weekend or over 5 days to suit your commitments. You can work from home, from your regional office, or flex between both. Travel to their regional head office in Widnes is required, with regional travel as needed.

The Ideal Candidate – is this you?
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
* A talent for storytelling, making topics engaging and relatable.
* Quick learner of new systems and technologies.
* Extensive experience in leading and facilitating training sessions or holding an SVQ L3 in Health and Social Care; a train-the-trainer certificate or recognized assessor award is beneficial.
* Strong IT skills.
* Full UK driving license required for travel.
