Our client is a leading distributer that is dedicated to producing products thats quality is recognised as second to none. Working in a close knit collaborative team they are looking for a Demand Planner, initially on a 12 month FTC with the possibility of extension.
Role and Responsibilities:
Forecast and purchase products aligned to market and company requirements
Submit orders to supplier, work closely with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels, balancing supply with forecasted demand
Participate in regular S and OP meetings to align demand forecasts with internal stakeholders
Identify potential risks to the demand forecast
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Experience in a Demand Planning or Purchasing role desirable
Strong understanding of the business environment, market dynamics
Experience using forecasting ERP or Planning Systems
Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
