Sealing & Packing Team Member
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent – COOK Pastry & Pies
Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm
Rate: £26,208 per year (including paid breaks)
Join the final stage of COOK’s production line — where the final touch is added to our delicious dishes. We are looking for detail-oriented, fast-moving team players to seal, sleeve, and box our products to perfection. If you enjoy working in a lively team environment and take pride in quality, we want you on board!
The Role
1. Accuracy & Presentation: Seal and box meals ensuring all products meet legal weight standards and presentation quality.
2. Quality Control: Verify freezing processes, operate x-ray and metal detection equipment, and ensure packaging and labeling match specifications.
3. Documentation: Complete all paperwork accurately, including legal documentation.
4. Team Contribution: Work effectively within a small team to reduce damage and wastage.
Good to Have
* Experience in food manufacturing or catering (NVQ Level 2 is a bonus).
* Leadership experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude.
