Band 3 £26,869 - £28,998 (pro rata)
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,349 (pro rata)

A vacancy has arisen for a Stroke Rehabilitation Assistant (SRA) in Medical Ward 2. The ward consists of a mix of general medical and stroke rehabilitation beds.
The SRA will support and coordinate the care needs of all patients, specifically those who have experienced a stroke, and will implement and adhere to National Standards in post-stroke care.
Applicants should be committed to providing a high standard of care and interact well within a multidisciplinary team. Good communication skills are essential; previous experience in health or social care is required. The role involves day shift rotation and Saturday work. There is an option to work either 2 x 7.5-hour shifts or 3 x 5-hour shifts.
The successful candidate must achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months for full-time workers or up to six months for part-time workers. For more information, visit www.hcswtoolkit.nes.scot.nhs.uk.
