Job Summary
At HC-One, we are looking for enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our Flex Force team. If you're looking to earn extra money while gaining valuable experience in the care sector, Flex Force is the perfect solution. With contracted hours and guaranteed set pay each month, you will also enjoy the freedom to choose shifts that fit around your family life or other commitments. Shifts will be offered across our care homes in the Walsall area, with the schedule running Monday to Sunday and including days, nights, and weekends. Flex Force Care Assistants will travel between a cluster of our homes – Littleton Lodge (WS12 4RY), Ash Grange (WS3 3ER) and Chaseview (WS7 1AW) – an essential and expected part of the role.
Responsibilities
* Support residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.
* Help residents with limited mobility.
* Take responsibility for the well‑being of residents on and off site.
* Travel between the cluster of homes as required.
* Maintain and promote the dignity and individuality of residents in all activities.
Qualifications
* Full right to work in the UK.
* Current driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous but is not essential.
* Completion of safeguarding training appropriate to the role and ability to recognise and report signs of abuse, harm or neglect.
* flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights and weekends.
