An excellent opportunity has arisen for a temporary Credit Controller to work for this successful company for 3-6 months. You will play a crucial role in managing the company’s accounts receivable function, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining positive client relationships. This role is integral to our finance team, contributing to the overall financial health of the firm. Your duties will be as follows:
1. Monitoring and managing the firm’s accounts receivable ledger
2. Proactively contacting clients to ensure timely payment of invoices
3. Negotiating payment plans and resolving any issues related to unpaid invoices
4. Liaising with internal staff to resolve invoicing queries in a timely manner
5. Implementing and adhering to the firm's credit control procedures
6. Acting as the primary contact for clients regarding outstanding payments
7. Providing detailed statements and explanations to clients as required
8. Preparing regular reports on the status of receivables and outstanding debts for the senior management
9. Conducting analysis on debtors and overdue accounts to identify trends and issues
10. Presenting findings and recommendations to the Head of Accounts
11. Maintaining accurate records of all communications and transactions with clients.
