About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Work Based Learning Manager to lead and grow our Construction and Motor Vehicle apprenticeships and workplace learning provision.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will report directly to the Head of Department and be responsible for both strategic development and operational performance across all Work Based Learning (WBL) programmes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Driving the growth, quality and performance of apprenticeship and workplace learning programmes.
* Leading the day-to-day delivery of Work Based Learning, ensuring outstanding outcomes for learners and employers.
* Managing, coaching and supporting a team of Quality Leads and Work Based Learning Assessors.
* Achieving ambitious targets for success rates, timely completions and apprenticeship starts.
* Overseeing caseload management, departmental budgets and forecasting to support sustainable growth.
* Taking ownership of performance reporting, quality monitoring and the department's Self-Assessment Report (SAR).
This is a pivotal leadership role that balances strategy, performance, and people-focused management. You will shape the future direction of the department and ensure the delivery of an exceptional experience for learners and employers.
