A new charity, established by a successful entrepreneur is seeking a proactive and driven Manager or Head of Operations to lead this new start-up venture which is dedicated to supporting Neurodiverse individuals.
The aim is to provide personalised care and tailored signposting plans that ensure individuals have equal access to life experiences and opportunities, regardless of learning, emotional, or behavioural challenges. The successful individual will be the “first feet on the ground” and will:
* Report into the founder, getting the charity up and running.
* Establish and oversee all day-to-day operations.
* Identify specialist service providers and resources for signposting.
* Focus on fundraising and income generation, engaging private sector organisations with ESG commitments.
* Build relationships with third-sector organisations for collaboration.
* Eventually recruit and collaborate with a small team.
* Promote the charity to potential volunteers and organise social events.
Experience:
* Extensive experience in the charity sector across operations and fundraising.
* Ability to establish a new charity.
* Experience with Neurodiverse individuals.
* A passion for making a meaningful impact.
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and proactive.
* Tech-savvy, with social media and financial management skills being a bonus.
The role will ultimately be based in Woking, although the owner is open to hybrid working, alongside being flexible with hours. The role is for 3 days a week minimum, however full-time candidates will also be considered. Circa £50-60k FTE salary.
