This role is ideal for someone with experience in manual machining, grinding, boring, or traditional workshop machining. Key Responsibilities * Manual machining on lathes, mills, borers and related workshop equipment * Carrying out boring operations and a grinding processes * Machining components to engineering drawings and job specifications * Using jigs, fixtures and tooling during setup and machining * Basic measurement and checking of parts using standard inspection tools Experience Required * Proven experience as a Manual Machinist in precision or general engineering * Hands-on experience in grinding * Experience in boring / line boring / jig boring * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Familiarity with measurement tools (micrometres, verniers, gauges) ideal * Candidates with a Quality background can also be considered What’s On Offer * Competitive salary: £34,000–£40,000 (depending on experience) * Half-day Fridays * Modern and well-equipped workshop * Supportive and friendly working environment * Genuine opportunities for career development * Long term stability with a growing business * Overtime available
