1to1 Group has an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant to join a small, friendly team in Winchester to cover one of the team who is going on maternity leave. This full-time (contract for minimum of 6 months), office-based role is perfect for someone with an office or warehouse administration background. The position supports the purchasing and stock team at a busy manufacturing company specializing in high-end products for the interior design market.
Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinating the full purchase order cycle, liaising with UK and international suppliers.
– Managing sales order reports, stock coordination, and dispatch.
– Assisting with product delivery, quality control, and stock booking.
– Processing invoices, returns, and handle raw materials and samples.
– Participating in annual stock take and maintaining accurate stock information.
– Assisting with bespoke product design ideas and quotations.
– Performing additional purchasing tasks as needed.
Required skills and experience:
– An interest in interior design preferred but not essential.
– Experience within an administrative role.
– Knowledge of inventory control
– Experience working in Purchasing is desirable.
– Excellent attention to detail.
– Strong communication and customer service skills.
– Proficiency in MS Office.
