Civitas Charity Recruitment is working with an independent national legal charity dedicated to ensuring that individuals facing disadvantage can access justice and hold power to account. The charity's work includes legal research, policy development, litigation, and training to promote fairness and improve public decision-making.
Role Overview:
The Senior Research Fellow will lead impactful research supporting access to justice and contributing to administrative law reform. The role involves empirical research, strategic planning, and translating findings into actionable insights, working with experienced colleagues to promote a fairer, more inclusive society.
Candidate Profile:
Applicants should have a strong understanding of public and administrative law, experience in designing impactful empirical research, and the ability to communicate effectively across audiences. Experience in policy development, external collaboration, and funding applications is desirable. Commitment to equity, collaboration, and courage is essential. Lived experience or prior work with marginalized communities is a plus.
Details:
* Type: Permanent, full-time or part-time (minimum 28 hours/week)
* Salary: £45,669 per annum, with cost-of-living uplift eligibility
* Benefits: 10% employer pension contribution after one year, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, flexible working from day one
* Location: London-based, with remote working options available
