Senior Finance Recruiter at White Horse Employment
White Horse Employment are delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a Management Accountant for a well-established organisation based near Malmesbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business in a pivotal finance role, where you’ll work closely with senior leadership to drive performance, lead a small team, and contribute to strategic decision-making. The role offers a broad scope across financial reporting, controls, forecasting, and project work, ideal for someone looking to step up and make a meaningful impact.
This position would suit a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a couple of years of post-qualification experience, either from industry or practice, who is ready to take full ownership of a finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Management: Own divisional P&L, cashflow, and balance sheet performance, including working capital and financial controls.
* Team Leadership: Manage and support a small team of Credit Controllers, ensuring effective debt management and team development.
* Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare and submit forecasts, challenge assumptions, and contribute to board-level reporting and trading updates.
* Performance Analysis: Monitor financial KPIs, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
* Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process, working collaboratively across departments to ensure accuracy and alignment.
* Process Improvement & Projects: Enhance financial controls, support ERP system optimisation, and drive efficiency across finance operations.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in a senior finance role within an SME
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels
* Comfortable managing competing priorities and delivering quality outcomes under pressure
* Experience leading small teams and driving process improvements
