What you’ll be doing:
* Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver a variety of products to our customers' doorsteps, on-time and in great condition.
* Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean, roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before getting out onto the road to drive safely in a variety of locations and conditions.
* Serving our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions, and keeping them informed of any delays.
* Confident in learning to use new technology to do your job effectively, comfortable driving a large vehicle in different locations from residential streets to country lanes.
* When not on the road, helping maintain a smooth operation in the stock room or on the shop floor.
* Building great knowledge about our products, services, and promotions to provide helpful recommendations.

Working in our stores
As a leading UK digital retailer, Argos provides outstanding convenience, choice, and value across a wide range of products. As a Home Delivery Driver, you’ll deliver Argos products directly to customers’ doors, providing industry-leading service.
Eligibility:
* You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
* You will complete an online driving risk assessment during your interview, followed by a driving assessment if successful.
* You must have the Right to Work in the UK.
* You should be available to work a variety of shifts, including three shift blocks during the day: Monday to Sunday 5:00am - 1:00pm, 1:00pm - 6:00pm, 6:00pm - 10:30pm. Hours will be scheduled around your availability and may vary weekly. Overtime opportunities may also be available, including supporting your local Sainsbury’s.
