Job Summary
Pooltown Dental is looking for a NHS Dental Hygienist to cover Maternity Leave for 2 days per week (Flexible on days ). Times are 9:00am to 5:00pm. Applicants must be GDC registered. Pleasant mixed NHS practice computerised using R4+, with good fully qualified support staff. December or January start. Post can be employed or self employed. Wage will depend on employment status and appointment length (15 or 20 mins)
Responsibilities and Duties
a) full mouth debridement/ instrumentation.
b) Accurate completion of periodontal charting.
c) NHS & Cosmetic Scaling and polishing with the use of hand instruments and ultrasonic cavitron inserts.
d) Motivating and educating patients on effective oral hygiene.
e) Maintain clear, organised dental records.
Qualifications and Skills
Must be Qualified
Must have a current GDC Registration
NHS Experience would be preferred
