£50,000–£65,000 per annum (contractor)
A leading regulatory legal team is seeking a Legal Adviser to support the development of complex price control frameworks linked to a major multi-billion-pound UK infrastructure programme.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with solid public or regulatory law experience to step into a dynamic environment and work closely with senior lawyers, Counsel and policy colleagues on high-impact legal matters.
What you’ll do
Provide legal support on the design and implementation of future price control mechanisms.
Assist with preparing for potential statutory appeals, including CMA appeal processes.
Advise on regulatory risks and ongoing obligations under current frameworks.
Handle a variety of regulatory and public-law queries across the team.
What you bring
Strong grounding in public or regulatory law.
Experience with judicial review, appeals, or disputes.
Ability to quickly get up to speed with complex material and deliver clear, timely advice.
Interest in economic regulation, energy, infrastructure or large-scale policy work.
