Remit is recruiting on behalf of Pro Automotive Scotland, offering an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in starting a career and gaining a recognised qualification in the automotive industry.\n\nThe Apprenticeship Programme offers the chance to work full-time while earning and learning at the same time, allowing you to put theory into practice within an automotive industry environment.\nTypically, you will attend college for the first three years, with the final year spent primarily in the workshop. Working alongside your mentor, you will receive full hands-on training.\nAs a Vehicle Accident Repair Technician, you will repair and replace damaged panels using gas, electric, and plastic welding techniques. You will also gain experience using specialist body jigs and tools, equipping you with the skills needed for a career in vehicle repair.\n â¢\tExcellent practical skills\nâ¢\tThe ability to work quickly but also pay attention to detail.\nâ¢\tThe ability to work well alone as part of a team.\nâ¢\tGood communication skills\nâ¢\tThe ability to follow written and verbal instructions. â¢\tNationals at level 4 or above in English and Mathâs\nâ¢\tIt is also preferred if you have a Craft Subject and physics/science; these are advantageous but not mandatory.\nâ¢\tA desire to work in the Automotive Industry\nâ¢\tHobbies which may involve using tools and motor trade-related related.\nYou will be working towards the SVQ Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship\nInitial Assessments and interviews will be carried out by Remit Ltd.
