An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global market leader as a Field Sales Engineer, driving growth across the Isolation Valves business in Midlands and South England. This is a customer:facing role focused on developing strong relationships, growing key accounts, and delivering measurable commercial success.
The role
You will take ownership of a defined territory, building a deep understanding of customer needs and market opportunities. Using a consultative sales approach, you ll identify new business, strengthen existing accounts, and create growth strategies that support regional objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing a sales strategy for Isolation Valves product lines. Growing the opportunity funnel through key accounts and achieving/exceeding targets. Understanding customer drivers and positioning solutions that support their goals. Using consultative selling and account planning tools to uncover needs and opportunities. Monitoring the market and identifying early opportunities across the territory. Managing third:party distribution partners and building joint business plans. Working with internal teams to prepare quotations and proposals. Producing accurate monthly forecasts and annual bookings budgets. Using CRM effectively to manage customer communication and coordination.
About you
We re looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong B2B track record and a genuine customer focus. You ll ideally bring an engineering background, preferably in valve:related technology, and a consultative approach to selling.
A full, clean driving licence is essential.
