The Role As part of a high-performing legal team, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice that directly impacts business decisions. This is a varied and hands-on role, where you will be involved in: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements Advising on contractual, legal and regulatory issues affecting the business Supporting key business projects and strategic initiatives Identifying and managing legal and commercial risk Liaising with external counsel where required Contributing to governance, compliance and continuous process improvement You will also benefit from exposure to sector-specific legal issues and emerging areas, including technology, data, and regulatory developments - making this a genuinely interesting and future-focused position. The Candidate This role will suit a commercially minded solicitor who enjoys being close to the business and taking a pragmatic, solutions-driven approach to legal challenges. You will ideally: Have 5 years' PQE with experience in commercial contracts Possess strong drafting and negotiation skills Be confident engaging with stakeholders across different business areas Demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving mindset Be comfortable managing your own workload in a fast-paced environment Experience working in-house, or exposure to sectors such as technology, infrastructure or regulated industries, would be advantageous - but is not essential.
