With over 35 years of experience and a network of over 30 innovation centres across the UK and Ireland, we support more than 850 SMEs across 35+ sectors. Now, we're looking for a proactive and collaborative Assistant Centre Manager to join our team and help drive the success of one of our dynamic centres. Alongside Stockport Business & Innovation Centre and Merchants House, Merseyway Innovation Centre offers a thriving Innovation Centre where fledgling and small businesses are supported in their growth plans in a centrally located, flexible and inspirational environment.
This full-time post is a key role in enhancing the operational performance, customer experience and the ultimate financial performance of the centre.
What You'll Do
As Assistant Centre Manager, you'll play a key role in:
* Supporting the Centre Manager in delivering operational excellence and outstanding customer service.
* Enhancing the centre's profile and reputation locally and nationally.
* Managing day-to-day operations, including facilities, compliance, and contractor relationships.
* Driving commercial performance through the sale of space in the centre, marketing support, and community engagement.
* Deputising for the Centre Manager when needed, ensuring smooth and effective centre operations.

* Confidence in handling contracts, budgets, and financial reporting.
