The Mix is a global market research agency for people who want to create something they’ve never seen before. Since 2012, The Mix has been combining the best of quantitative research, qualitative research, strategy, and creativity to create market research campaigns that answer what, why, how, and who in equal measure. Oh, and we work a 4-day week - that is right, we don’t work Fridays! Based in London and New York, but operating globally, the team is a bunch of diverse, committed, enthusiastic, and hardworking people. Together, we work with some of the world’s biggest brands, including Diageo, Nike, Just Eat and PepsiCo. This position is to work from our Bermondsey office in London. You will be required to come to the office 3 days per week. What you'll be doing: In a nutshell, you’ll be delivering compelling and commercially relevant strategies based on insight gathered from primary research, which is designed, conducted and analysed by you and the team at The Mix. What this means on a daily basis : Leading global projects while supporting more junior team members on multiple projects at various stages. Moderating/facilitating confidently in all situations (Cumulus, in-depths, consumer workshops, client workshops digitally and face-to-face). Having internal commercial sensitivity - working in partnership with the Project Manager to deliver the work within budget, acting resourcefully when required. Utilising and delegating appropriately to Junior Insight and Strategist to maximise the use of your time whilst providing a useful experience to more junior team members. At the proposal stage, actively develop a response to a client brief and put together a compelling pitch strategy. Seeking out new marketing strategies and bringing these to the attention of the agency. Contributing towards thought leadership - writing blogs/preparing presentations on behalf of The Mix. We are looking for someone who: Builds strong relationships with the Project Manager and Data Strategist when working in partnership with our Quant team. Build collaborative relationships with the Creative team to help elevate final work. Builds close relationships with Directors on and outside of project work. Provides guidance and development support to Junior Insight and Strategist. Who shows eagerness to develop and test new Strategy/Research thinking and practices to the benefit of project work and the agency. Ensures that all analysis is thoroughly explored and that our strategic answer to clients has a robust foundation. Who is committed to elevating all of our work to impact decision-making? Is helpful and collaborative, always alert to other projects running in the business, and ready to support and guide when necessary.
