Role
Lecturer – Accounting & Finance. Deliver management related modules within the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexible schedule required: weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Responsibilities
* All aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring all learning outcomes are met
* Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate
* Using a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials
* Actively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings, and other administrative duties
* Understanding and keeping up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices
* Working towards a range of clearly defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction, and student progression
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable)
* Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area
* Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter
* Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback
* Experience of accurate reporting and ability to maintain thorough and organised student records
* Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team‑working skills
* Ability to work with diverse groups of people
Desirable
* Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years, or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent)
* Experience in design/development of academic or professional education programmes or equivalent
